IN RIO DE JANEIRO, HUBLOT OPENS FIRST BOUTIQUE IN LATIN AMERICA AND UNVEILS PELÉ’S SIGNATURE TIMEPIECE

On Wednesday February 5 2014, Hublot chose the city of Rio de Janeiro to open its first boutique in Latin America, located at Fashion Mall. Pelé, representing both Hublot and the entire nation of Brazil for the 2014 World Cup, was present on this occasion to do a ribbon-cutting as well as witness the unveiling of his signature timepiece – the Classic Fusion Pelé.
The limited edition Classic Fusion Pelé pays homage to the greatest football player of all time and was inspired by his involvement and insights throughout the design process. The watch is a “classic fusion” of luxury and sport, and only 500 watches are available worldwide.
Pelé was joined at the opening by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe and fellow Hublot Ambassador (and Brazilian tennis player) Gustavo Kuerten.
